They live on opposite side of the U.S. and rarely get to spend much time together.
But Lea Michele and her boyfriend Theo Stockman have been reunited during a romantic holiday in tropical Hawaii.
Emerging from the crystal blue waters, the 24-year-old Glee actress showed off her trim and toned bikini body in a tiny strapless blue and black striped two-piece this week.

The tiny swimsuit accentuated the actress' slim figure and deep tan.
Her 26-year-old boyfriend donned plaid swimming trucks for their dip in the ocean.
Michele has clearly been relaxed during her well-deserved break on the tropical island.
'Taking this hiatus to the next level!' she tweeted a few days ago.
'Enjoying some serious sun & sand & relaxation in one of the most beautiful places in the world.'

She's also been busy cooking up vegan feasts for the health conscious couple.
'Tonight I made the most delicious vegan soba veggie stir-fry! With a kale salad with miso dressing on the side! Yummy!' she wrote last night.
Like many showbiz couples Lea and Theo are forced to spend time apart, but they also endure the challenges of a long distance relationship.

Theo is based in New York where he performs on Broadway, while Lea, who plays ambitious singer Rachel Berry, films Glee in Hollywood.
Lea's break also comes after enduring a stressful few weeks waiting to hear about the fate of her character on the hit series.
Earlier this month, it was reported that she would be getting the axe from the hit show.
But Lea would have been thrilled to have heard the good news which came out of San Diego's Comic-Con over the weekend.
During the Glee panel, series co-creator and executive producer Brad Falchuk set the record straight about upcoming changes in the series.
Falchuck confirmed to the packed audience that the characters Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith play will be graduating at the end of this season.
But he said that doesn't mean they'll be saying goodbye to the hit Fox musical comedy.
'Here’s the exact thing: They’re seniors. They’re graduating. But that doesn’t mean they’re leaving the show,' Falchuk said.
Going the distance: Lea and Theo have managed to maintain a long distance relationship between New York and LA
'It was never our intention or plan to let these people go,' he added.
Falchuck's statements contradicted recent comments made by fellow co-creator Ryan Murphy, who earlier this month told The Hollywood Reporter that Michele, Colfer and Monteith would not be back after the current season.
Day job: Lea is best know for playing ambitious Rachel Berry on Glee
'You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic, or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year,' Murphy said.
As Falchuk spoke to fans over the weekend, he revealed that show producers had talked about a possible spin-off featuring the three graduates in New York, trying to start careers on Broadway.
But he said he was 'leaning against doing it.'.
Lea was not present in San Diego over the weekend, where her new movie Dorothy Of Oz and Glee, were both being promoted.
But the brunette beauty made sure to apologise to her adoring fans.
So sad I can't be at Comic Con this weekend promoting my new movie Dorothy of Oz and w/ Glee! Sending love to every1 there!!! Miss you guys! she Tweeted.
Earlier this month after Mail Online and other websites reported that Michele and Chris Colfer had learned that their characters would not be returning to Glee for a fourth season, fans took to the internet to express their outrage.
At the time, Michele didn't seem too worried about the news of her departure, tweeting: 'We always knew we'd graduate in real time. It's all part of the plan and it's all good.
'It's going to make Season 3 amazing.'
She added: 'To Gleeks everywhere, you're in my heart now and forever. Love you all!!! This is just the beginning!!'
Michele has also been working on launching a movie career and has a role in the ensemble comedy film New Year's Eve, which she was spotted filming back in March.
