Kylie Minogue's 90-year-old grandma has threatened to wear a bikini on the star's tour to "steal her thunder".
The pop star released her eleventh studio album Aphrodite in July last year, and is performing an extensive world tour to showcase the record.
After dazzling audiences in Europe, Asia and America, the 42-year-old singing sensation is ending the world tour in her native Australia.
The songstress hails from Melbourne, and performances feels more special on home turf. The stunning star especially loves having her family present at the live shows.
Speaking to her younger sister Dannii before her first Melbourne set, Kylie jokingly revealed that having her family there for support sometimes proves a distraction.
"It's definitely more exciting. My granny's coming tonight. Our 90-year-old grandma is going to rock the house out tonight," she revealed in a video interview with mydaily.co.uk.
"Mama said, 'So, are you going to get up on stage?' And grandma said, 'Oh, I wouldn't know what to wear, I might have to wear a bikini,' I said, 'Grandma, if you steal my thunder, there's going to be hell to pay,'" she laughed.
"Honestly, it's in the genes, what can we do!?"
Kylie finds it difficult to choose her favourite song to perform on the tour. After much deliberation, the singer decided on a track that conjured up the most emotion in the audience.
"That might seem like an easy question - but it's not so easy. How can I choose a favourite song? It's the truth. OK, If You Don't Love Me. That was under duress. Just because it's a special, small moment in the show. It's a weeper," she explained.
